Don’t know about you guys but I am absolutely buzzing for the next instalment of the franchise, which will be hitting us later on this year. It will be called ‘Assassin’s Creed Victory’ Last years release; ‘Assassin’s Creed Unity’ was a cracking upgrade from Rogue. These games come out so fast yet the quality does not suffer at all.

When I played the first Assassin’s Creed, I would not have believed you if you told me I’d love the series now. The game was probably the most repetitive I’ve ever played. Each mission involved doing the same thing, over and over again. I got bored very quickly and swapped it after just a couple of days. These days though, this is definitely not the case. ‘Unity’ was filled with so much variation that I did not put the controller down for about five days. Literally. I even took holiday from work just so I could play it (and complete it). The French revolution setting was gripping and the fact you could play it with four people was a revelation!

Assassin’s Creed Victory is being placed in England; London to be exact, and will include a brand new character and cohorts. Ubisoft, the games designers, have promised that the release date will be some time in late 2015, and will feature some new aspects of gameplay that will be quite different from previous games. A switch between first and third person gameplay is also set to be included.

Unity was the first release on the next-gen consoles and I was not disappointed. The Parisian skyline was pure beauty and the detail was stunning. I cannot wait to see what Ubisoft have up their sleeves this time around.

Hurry up with the release!!
